When you call the church, more than likely you will be greeted by Sharon. Not only does she tend to the phone but also does plenty of typing at the computer, updating of the weekly bulletin & she’ll also be the first to greet you if you happen to stop by.

Sheila is in charge of the Multimedia area at Abundant Life. She makes sure the words of each song show up on the projection screen during worship time & also runs the video and slide show clips during the service. She plays an integral part in keeping the service flowing smoothly.

Roseann heads up our Drama Ministry. She directs our annual Christmas & Easter Productions as well as many other skits and performances throughout the year. She also is our main seamstress for the many costumes that are used in these performances.

Tim is our sound guy. If anyone is serious about trying to run a sound board with a thousand buttons come see Tim. For this ministry you will need a very good set of ears and fast hands. Great sound is extremely important for any service to be successful and Tim makes that happen.

In today’s world if you’re not on the web, you don’t exist. So, you can imagine how important it is to have a working web site for your church to display who they are to the community. Not only that but also upcoming events, directions & contact information can be easily found through a church’s web site. We are always looking for people who are interested in serving in this ministry field.

The God Zone is where lots of children get a chance to learn about God while their parents can enjoy the sermon without worry. It’s Sunday School at Abundant Life and Jenn’s dedication to the children makes it all happen.

This is Rob’s area of expertise. Video taping the worship time & the sermon is an important part of our service. Many times the pastors and/or singers like to view themselves for various reasons after a service & thanks to Rob’s team we’ve got ‘em on DVD.

This ministry is important because today’s teens are tomorrow’s leaders. You definitely have to have a heart for serving in this area and these leaders have it! If you feel you have the heart for teaching, please stop in some Monday night and see what they’re all about.

Kids For Christ

Patience is the key with these kids. They have lots of energy and are willing to use it seemingly all the time. At the same time, it certainly is a joy to see them playing and having fun as they learn about God. Many children that come to KFC are friends of the children from Abundant Life and have no spiritual foundation. Here is where we introduce that to them and their family.

Dave is our maintenance technician. This job requires mowing, trimming, and lots and lots of cleaning to keep the property at Abundant Life presentable to the community around it. Stop by sometime and take a look around.
